My boyfriend likes the roast beef wrap they sell in the kiosk inside the gym where he works out - so much that he decided we should be able to make one at home. So with some help from his memory and a trip to the grocery, we came up with this.
| Recipe by Melvin |
*this also marks our first venture into 'cooking'.
Ingredients:
- Whole wheat tortilla wrapper (you can use the small or big ones)
- Romain Lettuce (rinsed, dried and cut into sizeable strips
- Tomatoes, cut into strips
- White Onions, cut into half rings
- Green Bell Pepper, cut into strips
- Tita Rose's Roast Beef (secret recipe, for now), cut into strips
- Dijonnaise (or any preferred) Dressing
Directions:
On one tortilla wrapper, layer lettuce, roast beef and other ingredients. You can decide how much of each you can put, depending on your taste.
Drizzle the dressing over the ingredients, then roll tightly and secure with a toothpick, if needed.
Warm it up in the microwave (if you want it soft) or the toaster oven (for a crunchier texture)
Voila! Home-style Roast Beef Wraps! ^_^
This one turned out really well, and was a surprisingly filling meal. You can use a wide variety of dressings and add-ons for your own wrap (cheese, anyone?)
