Tita Rose's Basic Spaghetti

My boyfriend's mom makes a really good spaghetti; it's one of those not too saucy, not to sweet varieties that's chock-full of meat and hotdog slices, very reminiscent of childhood. And with it being one of my boyfriend's favorite dishes, society dictates that I am inclined to master such a dish.
Super meaty spaghetti (the meaty-ness was totally by accident)

 Ingredients:
  • Spaghetti noodles (cooked according to package instructions
  • Store-brought spaghetti sauce
  • Lean ground beef
  • Hotdog, cut into small rounds
  • Crushed garlic
  • Minced onions

Directions:

Saute garlic and onions until fragrant and onions become translucent. Add hotdogs and ground beef, season with salt and pepper and simmer with a few tablespoons of pasta water.
Once the beef is cooked, add spaghetti sauce, stir and simmer until the consistency is thick.
Pour finished sauce over pasta (add cheese if desired), and you're good to go :D
